NVIDIA announces ION-based PCs for the Q2

After a several months long saga (more details on Engadget) about common and separate strategies of NVIDIA and Intel, maybe today we are getting closer to a clue : NVIDIA states in a press release that the first PCs based on their ION platform are planned for the Q2 of this year.
NVIDIA is also claiming that for ION they have the support of the world’s leading software companies, including Adobe, Google, Microsoft, and Electronic Arts. They reportedly have recognized the performance and energy-saving benefits PCs should draw from this new technology, and are willing to give it a try.
If all these claims show to be true and lasting, the 3D is getting a big push up on smaller and low-powered systems!
