Vuzix announced yesterday a new Apple certified cable that allows connecting its Eyewear products to iPhone.

The cable obtained the 'Works with iPhone' certification and is ready for the market. It will be bundled with the company's iWear AV230XL, but will also be available for all current Vuzix Video Eyewear customers for only $39.95. It's intended to bring, among other benefits, a full 3D support to iPhone (which, to be honest, maybe doesn't need one so badly yet, but stay tuned, it won't be long!).

It doesn't take much to get the point. With their recent Augmented Reality Accessory Kit, and the actual tendencies in the mobile applications development, Vuzix is obviously trying to take good positions for the down of mobile VR. Given the efforts they are putting in this job, they might even found themselves among the leaders.
